Mislaid in Parts Half-Known by Seanan McGuire is a portal fantasy and the ninth book in the Wayward Children series.

I borrowed the audiobook from my library, which was read by Jesse Vilinsky. As an odd-numbered installment, this one progresses the chronological plot line of this series forward.

We continue to follow Antsy, who we met in the previous book, Lost in the Moment and Found. We get more worldbuilding here about the doors and the Shop Where the Lost Things Go. This is all so fascinating to me! We also dig a bit into why people might not want to go back to their portal world for the time being.

Overall, an enjoyable read but not one of my favorites from the series.
