Tangled Power is the second book in the Compass Points series by Jillian Witt. It’s a fantasy romance set in a world inspired by United States National Parks, which is a really cool premise! This installment is just as enjoyable and evocative as the first book in the series, Compass Points.

I especially enjoy the worldbuilding: fae are separated into houses (north/south/east/west) based on their brand of elemental magic. We dig a bit more into that here when all four Compass Points (the leaders of each house) must work together to confront a god and save the continent. We learn more about how magic works and also get some backstory on our male lead.

I’m definitely picking up the next book in the series when it comes out!
