I borrowed the audiobook from my local library after being recommended this series eleventy billion times (thank you!). Pippa Jayne narrates these, and I had a great time listening to her.

Stella and Luka have been best friends for a long time. And she is certain Luka will pretend to be her boyfriend so her struggling Christmas tree farm can win a $100k cash prize from an Instagram-famous influencer. But can they pretend to be in love while also pretending they’re not already in love?

I really love this small town and all of the people in it. It is so very charming! I grew up in a small town in Maryland so it was lovely to see this was set on the Eastern Shore.

The chemistry between our leads was pretty on point, and there’s a bit of spice here (which is fun). There’s kind of a third act breakup, which I tend to hate, but this one was palatable.
