In the Weeds by B.K. Borison is a contemporary rom-com and the second book in the Lovelight series. You can technically read them all as stand-alones, but I’d still recommend reading them in order if you can.

The audiobook is narrated by Pippa Jayne and Dane Anderson, and I enjoyed listening to them.

Evie and Beckett had a one-night stand a while back, and she blew back into his life in the first book in this series. After blowing back out on the wind, Evie decides to take a break from her social media career and revisit Inglewild, the last place she felt happiness. She’s definitely not coming back for Beckett.

I really love Beckett and he must be protected at all costs. I see myself in him a lot, always rescuing animals, and feeling a bit overwhelmed in crowds.

If you’re looking for a cozy rom-com with heart, you should absolutely try this series!
