The Wedding Witch by Erin Sterling is the third book in the Graves Glen paranormal romance series.

Technically, this trio of books can be read individually as standalones, but I’d still recommend reading them in order since we do get cameos and updates from the MCs of the previous books in later installments. This one felt the steamiest of all three, and I’m not complaining.

I’ve really enjoyed this series so far, but the plot felt like it had a few hitches in this one. I had several questions as it wrapped up that I felt were left a bit ambiguous or perhaps were even forgotten. The author mentioned in her Acknowledgements that this one was the hardest book she’s ever had to write. I think that came across a bit for me in the execution.

The first 10% of the book is taken up by a prologue that is semi-epistolary, which I tend to enjoy. I wish there was a bit more of that, though, to help build up the feelings these two characters had for one another. They seemed to jump to love from like super fast.

Though The Wedding Witch didn’t land as well for me as the first two books in the series, in the end I’d still recommend it as a fun and steamy cozy paranormal romance to pick up this fall or winter.

Tropes in this book include: “office” romance, fake dating, forced proximity, only one bed, time travel shenanigans, holiday (yule), epistolary prologue
