The Love Fixers by Angela Casella is a the first contemporary rom-com in the Unlucky in Love series.
Claire just found out she inherited property from a biological father she never knew. During the scary plane ride there, she kisses the guy seated next to her when they all think they might be about to die. And then she finds out he’s her new next-door neighbor…
This was a fun and easily consumable read! I appreciated the mystery elements, and the chemistry between our main couple was pretty well done. I’m always a fan of banter, and this book has it in spades.
It did feel a little on the long side for me, and I’m not sure the reveal of the mystery really stuck the landing. That being said, I did enjoy this book overall.
Tropes in this book include: dual POV, grumpy/sunshine, forced proximity (next-door-neighbor), small town
