Finlay Donovan Rolls the Dice is the fourth book in the delightful Finlay Donovan cozy mystery series by Elle Cosimano.

This series continues to be a win for me in terms of reading enjoyment. I can always count on Finlay books to be full of hijinks and a variety of fun plot hooks.

In this installment, Finlay and Vero travel to Atlantic City under the guise of a girl’s weekend, but in actuality they need to sort out a few issues to get Russian mob and a loan shark off their tails. As per usual, their plan fails and in the end the whole family–and then some–end up joining the two of them on the trip.

I’m very excited for the next book in the series, in which we get to learn a lot more about her busybody neighbor, Mrs. Haggerty!
