Finding Home by Lauren Rowe is a contemporary rockstar romance with suspense elements.

I had a fun time reading this book. It felt like potato chip reading for me; e.g. I just kept wanting to read one more chapter. I ended up finishing the latter half of it in one sitting on my couch during a long weekend.

This is my first book from the author. I know that Caleb (the lead in this book) is mentioned in other books she’s written. Finding Home can absolutely be read as a standalone.

The chemistry between our leads is fabulous. Though they got together a little sooner than I would have liked, I was rooting for them the whole time. There are a good number of steamy scenes throughout the book.

The suspense elements here were sprinkled in and, for me, didn’t feel like they completely meshed with the rest of the story. They felt a bit jarring to me. That being said, I’ll absolutely be reading more books from this author in the future though!

Tropes in this book include: rockstar, single dad, forced proximity, opposites attract

CW: death of loved one (car accident), death of parent (cancer), mentions of SA (including to minors, never detailed or on-page), mentions of domestic violence (not on page), firearms

I received a complimentary review copy from the author and Hambright PR. All opinions contained herein are my own.
