Reads & Company Bookshop is a lovely independent bookstore in the heart of historic Phoenixville, PA.
I recently visited and had a lot of fun browsing the shelves! They have a lot of different sections, including a really cute kids section with a rocket ship you can read inside!
I also loved the book monster in the Poetry section. There was a great selection in the speculative fiction section, where I spent the longest time deciding what I was going to purchase!
As a queer person, the shop felt very welcoming to me. There was even a bisexual pride flag and a rainbow duckie at the register!
I really appreciated their Community Engagement display, and I also found really cool skin tone dual-tip coloring markers, which I’d never seen before.
If you’re local to them, you should absolutely check them out (or list them as your indie partner via bookshop.org or libroFM. And they have gift cards!
