Barbarian Mine is the fourth book in the Ice Planet Barbarians sci-fi romance series by Ruby Dixon.
This series is always so fun to read! The narrators both do a great job of helping me stay engaged in the story. Mason Lloyd in particular does a great job getting inside the head of these big blue aliens, and especially so in this book.
Yup, this is a George of the Jungle-esque situation and I was here for it. Even though Harlow has learned the language that the tribe currently uses (thanks to the cave of the ancestors aka their spaceship), she still needs to learn how to communicate effectively with Rukh since he doesn’t know much language at all. Harlow does a really great job trying to explain language to him.
We also learned about some familial ties that Rukh had, even though he didn’t know he had them! I’m excited to dig farther into his relationship with his brother in future books.
