Italy Can Bite Me by MéLisa Ryun is a fun vacation rom-com from a husband and wife writing duo.

“She’s all plans. He’s all trouble. Italy wasn’t supposed to come with a side of temptation.”

As soon as I saw this title + cover I knew I needed to pick this one up. We alternate POVs between our two main characters.

Katie has meticulously planned her entire life up until her fiancée calls off their upcoming wedding. To spread her wings a little bit, she accompanies her aunt on a senior’s bus tour through Italy only to find it led by charming and spontaneous Matteo.

The rest of the seniors on the trip–and the driver of the bus–are all really fun side characters! I especially loved Aunt Deb.

Tropes in this book include: opposites attract, forced proximity, holiday fling, he falls first, slow burn, fake dating

I received a complimentary review copy from the author and Literary Media Tours. All opinions contained herein are my own.
