Wheetle: A Little Wagon with a Big Heart is a tender picture book about setting boundaries by Cindy Derby.
As someone who has a hard time saying no when people ask me for help, I really appreciated this book! I had a red wagon when I was a kid and this book brought back memories of all of the things that all I carried in mine.
I really love the artwork; it’s so whimsical! I especially loved the pages showing what Wheetle helped carry for his friends, and the different color palates the author/artist used for different times of the day or the darkness of despair creeping in.
