Snug by Catana Chetwynd is a collection of cute and cozy comics about love and partnership.

The past several weeks have been very data-heavy at my day job, our basement took on some water earlier this week (it appears there is no lasting damage!), and the concert for my orchestra that exclusively plays music from video games is somehow already next weekend. So I needed something light and cute to soothe my frazzled brainmeats.

Snug by Catana Comics absolutely fits the bill! I picked this up in my Little Free Library, and I’ll most likely be dropping it back off in there for the next person to read. I feel pretty seen in many of these comics, which was also more balm to my soul.

Catana’s art style is very simple and whimsical. I can definitely feel how playful her relationship must be, as her work is autobiographical. It’s easy to see how well her and her partner balance each other out, while she’s also hitting you with nostalgia bombs or other warm happy feelings throughout the collection.

Sometimes we just need something lighthearted to give us a little boost, and this collection was perfect for that.
