I hope June has been good to everyone so far! I’m really trying to utilize my Always Fully Booked planner from Little Inklings Design as fully as possible this year.
I finished 12 books in the month of May, down from 16 in April. This month I continued to listen to a bunch of audiobooks, read a bit via my Kindle Paperwhite, and kept up with my goal of picking up a few physical books.
In May, the bulk of what I read were books sent to me for review by the publisher (54.5%) or a PR company (36.4%). After I colored in the whole donut, I realized that I forgot to mark the NetGalley books I read, oops! The three books I had from NetGalley are reflected in the publisher segment this month.
My average rating moved down to 4.1 stars (from 4.2 in April), which is still pretty close to my typical average on Goodreads. For the second month in a row, I had zero 5-star books. I had one each 4.75-star and 4.5-star in May, followed by three 4.25-star and four 4-star reads. My lowest rated book for the month was a 3.5-star read.
