The Marquess Married a Murderess is a fun and cute Regency romance from Michelle McLean, and the start of a new series.

This book was inspired by the 90’s romcom So I Married an Axe Murderer and it was really flipping delightful. I read it in two sittings that just so happened to be almost two months apart.

(I got REALLY busy in November and my brain did NOT want to focus on ebooks for a time, but I inhaled the final 84% of this book in one day while recuperating from a headache.)

Since this is called the Brelsford Brothers series, I hope Edward’s best friend is considered his spiritual brother. In the epilogue, we get a glimpse at his wedding to a woman “he didn’t see coming,” and I need to read about it.

I received a complimentary review copy from NetGalley and the author. All opinions contained herein are my own.
