The Cat Behavior Answer Book: Understanding How Cats Think, Why They Do What They Do, and How to Strengthen Our Relationships with Them by Arden Moore has a new second edition slated for publication in late September 2022. The first edition was published in 2007.
Chapters detail information about cats including: cat communication styles, peculiar habits, litter box issues, diet and grooming, and how to enrich your indoor environment. The majority of the book is in a question & answer format, which the title notes. Both the questions and answers are easy to parse and explain things so even a young child might be able to understand them.
The book isn’t only questions and answers, though. There are random feline facts sprinkled throughout the text, along with various lists (e.g. the most popular breeds of cats or how to pick a name for your cat). This book is a great resource to cat owners or individuals who are looking into becoming a cat owner.
