I Survived Capitalism and All I Got Was This Lousy T-Shirt by Madeline Pendleton is part memoir part intro to financial literacy.
I did a blended read, where I followed along in the physical book (and tabbed it several times!) while listening to the audiobook version. I borrowed it from my local library and it is narrated by the author.
There is a lot of great information about financial literacy in this book! Not only is there great financial advice here, but we also get memoir sections mixed throughout. I’ll definitely be keeping this book on my shelf to reference in the future.
Madeline has gone through so much and I’m so glad she was able to write this book to help other people on their personal financial journeys. She is so relatable.
