Good and cozy romances definitely scratch an itch for me. When my brain just can’t anymore, I default to a romance. I don’t watch much television, but I used to love watching home renovation shows, so it was fun to see more renovation talk in this book.

The Ryders seem like such good human beings! I really felt for Ada, especially her struggles with self-esteem. I love everyone at Rebel Blue Ranch and am excited to continue to learn more about them in the coming books. The ranch itself sounds gorgeous and it’s been fun imagining it in my brain while reading.

I saw someone else describe this book as black cat girlfriend/golden retriever boyfriend and that is very apt. I also think that kind of describes my own relationship as well (haha).
