In the Company of Witches is a fun paranormal cozy mystery and the start of the Evenfall Witches B&B mystery series by Auralee Wallace.
If you give me a family of witches who run a bed and breakfast in a small town on a plate, I will absolutely eat it up.
Though this book was a little slow to start for me, I adored the ending. I also really came to love many of the characters, especially the pets: Dog the raven and Faustus the cat.
The magic system isn’t anything too new, but I still really enjoyed it. I have a fantasy book on my TBR from this author, and I’m very excited to try that one soon.
